CRM's are fabulous in theory... but I have personally seen them used as an inter-company 'dodge-this-bullet' tool, with memos on difficult clients and upsell pressure!
I have no emotional attachment to suppliers. If at any point, the relationship is no longer, at the very least, mutually beneficial, I scour the web and those annoying post box fillers for an alternative. Because I am not brand committed / concerned, I too support the little guys if the price variance isn't astronomical.... prefer buying from street traders, with no middlemen in sight. Buying local is a huge trend right now, but with limited cash in hand, and a growing dissatisfaction about corporate greed on the local scale, I'm not yet convinced that it is the only alternative.

I am emotionally attached to everything. This includes brands. So I tend to bond with a brand and just stick to it. This sounds boring, but consumerism is, at best, banal.
So my loyalty is served out to brands on a first-come, first-served basis.
My saving grace is that I am forgetful.. So sometimes I forget the brand and then presume the one I'm buying is the right one.
I think I need to get my oxytocin levels checked. :/
Love y'all!
