Hi, I felt like Legion was a bit of the opposite, being able to choose what zone and story you wanted to follow first. Sure, in the end, it's the same story, but at least you got to choose the direction you took rather than being forced into a linear path. I don't mind it in games like Final Fantasy XIV which more or less are entirely built around that sort of narrative AND encourage players to only use one character that can be all classes. You will NEVER get to raise rep with ANY faction in Zandalar, you will NEVER get to quest for anything in Zandalar, you will NEVER find out wtf you're supposed to be doing in the Zandalari dungeons and raids because the content is ENTIRELY split. Thanks! For more details: Whiteboard Overview Video
