Right now I live in a small village near Ashford in Kent, Originally from Rugby town in Warwickshire I'm far more suited to the busy hustle bustle of a town but I find myself becoming more and more acquainted with the pace of the country.
I dislike the fact it's 10/15 minutes to the nearest anything which can be a pain, but I also like the silence and the lack of street lights polluting the night. I guess its a bit of a catch 22!
Ideally I'd like to still be in a village but one a tad closer to town or with a few more amenities!

Sarfrica, Western Cape, Gordon's Bay, 5 mins from the beach. Things I like: cheetah outreach 10 mins in one direction, monkey town 10 mins in the other direction, whale watching 1 hour down the coast, lots of cheap botanical gardens nearby. Things I dislike: not enough rain, not enough sheep.  |
